THE NEW SAFETY OFFICER

Hello everyone, Allow me to introduce myself.  I'm Barry, been with Little Creek since 1998. Was an EMT, a driver / operator and recently appointed to the position.  My tasking is to change the culture, keep members safe while at the station, training, responding, while operating on scene, and while returning to the station.  To make it work, I need buy in.  Yes I need your help to keep everyone safe.

While at the station, watch for wet or slippery floors (engine room, hall, living areas.  

Watch for tripping hazards everywhere.

Use seatbelts while responding, to the station, in the trucks, and on the way home.
